As the official agent for the electoral campaign of Kelvin Boucher-Chicago, an independent candidate during the 43rd federal general election held on October 21, 2019, Elizabeth Redsky was required, under subsection 477.59(7) of the Act, to provide the Candidate's Electoral campaign return (Return) to the Chief Electoral Officer, outlining the financing and expenses for the candidate's electoral campaign, within four months after polling day. The deadline to submit the Return was February 21, 2020.

Elections Canada has confirmed that the Return was submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer on April 21, 2021, 425 days after its due date. There are therefore reasonable grounds to believe that Elizabeth Redsky contravened subsection 477.59(7) of the Act.
