As the official agent for Jonathan Davis, an Independent candidate during the 43rd federal general election held on October 21, 2019, Angela Allaire was required, by virtue of subsection 477.59(1) of the Act, to provide the Candidate's Electoral Campaign Return (Return) to the Chief Electoral Officer, outlining the financing and expenses for the candidate's electoral campaign.

An extension of the filing deadline until June 30, 2020, was requested and granted by the Chief Electoral Officer. Elections Canada's records have confirmed that as of October 4, 2021, the Return has not been submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer.

There are therefore reasonable grounds to believe that Angela Allaire continues to be in default of the requirement to provide the Return required under subsection 477.59(1) of the Act.
