Count 1.

That Amandeep Gill, being the official agent of a candidate, did, on or between February 13th, 2009 and April 30th, 2013, at or near the City of Calgary or elsewhere in the Province of Alberta, fail to provide the Chief Electoral Officer for the federal general election held on October 14, 2008, with an electoral campaign return, substantially in the prescribed form, on the financing and expenses for the candidate's electoral campaign as required under section 451 of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, and did thereby commit an offence contrary to paragraph 497(1)(u) of the Canada Elections Act; and

Count 2.

That Amandeep Gill, being the official agent of a candidate, did on or between February 13th, 2009 and April 30th, 2013, at or near the City of Calgary or elsewhere in the Province of Alberta, wilfully fail to provide the Chief Electoral Officer for the federal general election held on October 14, 2008, with an electoral campaign return, substantially in the prescribed form, on the financing and expenses for the candidate's electoral campaign as required under section 451 of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c.9, as amended, and did thereby commit an offence contrary to paragraph 497(3)(r) of the Canada Elections Act .
