Charge no. 1
That Joseph Patrick Shannon, between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008, at or near Port Hawkesbury and elsewhere in the Province of Nova Scotia, did wilfully make contributions to a registered association and to candidates of a particular registered party, the total of which exceeded $1100, contrary to paragraph 405(1)(a.1) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.13) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.
Charge no. 2
That Joseph Patrick Shannon, between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011, at or near Port Hawkesbury and elsewhere in the Province of Nova Scotia, did wilfully make contributions to a registered association and to candidates of a particular registered party, the total of which exceeded $1,100, contrary to paragraph 405(1)(a.1) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.13) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.

That Joseph Patrick Shannon, between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011, at or near Port Hawkesbury and elsewhere in the Province of Nova Scotia, did wilfully make contributions to candidates of a particular registered party, the total of which exceeded $1,100, contrary to paragraph 405(1)(a.1) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.13) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.
Charge no. 4
That Joseph Patrick Shannon, between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, at or near Port Hawkesbury and elsewhere in the Province of Nova Scotia, did knowingly make contributions to candidates of a particular registered party, the total of which exceeded $1,500, contrary to paragraph 367(1)(b) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 497(2)(d) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.
Charge no. 5
That Joseph Patrick Shannon, between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, at or near Port Hawkesbury and elsewhere in the Province of Nova Scotia, did knowingly make contributions to candidates of a particular registered party, the total of which exceeded $1,500, contrary to paragraph 367(1)(b) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 497(2)(d) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.
