Charges – September 26, 2017

Charge no. 1

That Clara Robyn Suraski and Lauren Bayla Suraski, on or about October 11, 2015, at or near the Township of King, Ontario, having already voted in the 42nd general election, requested a second ballot, contrary to section 7 of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 483(b) of the Canada Elections Act, S. C. 2000, c. 9 as amended;

Charge no. 2

That Lauren Bayla Suraski, on or about October 11, 2015, at or near the Township of King, Ontario, did willfully apply to be included in a list of electors for a polling division when she was already included in a list of electors for another polling division prepared for use at the same election, contrary to paragraph 111(b) of the Canada Elections Act, by completing and signing a Registration Certificate at an Advanced Poll before the Deputy Returning Officer, thereby committing an offence under paragraph 487(1)(a) of the Canada Elections Act, S. C. 2000, c. 9 as amended;

Charge no. 3

That Lauren Bayla Suraski, on or about October 11, 2015, at or near the Township of King, Ontario, did willfully apply to be included in a list of electors for a polling division in which she was not ordinarily resident, contrary to paragraph 111(c) of the Canada Elections Act, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 487(1)(a) of the Canada Elections Act, S. C. 2000, c. 9 as amended.
