Charges – December 19, 2017

Charge no. 1

Margot Doey-Vick, on or about the 1st day of July, 2015, at or near the City of Ottawa or elsewhere in the Province of Ontario, being the Financial Agent of the Scarborough-Agincourt Federal Liberal Association, a deregistered electoral district association, contravened section 403.26 of the Canada Elections Act, S. C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, by failing to provide the Chief Electoral Officer, within six months following its deregistration on December 31, 2014, with the Scarborough-Agincourt Federal Liberal Association's financial transaction return, and did thereby commit an offence contrary to paragraph 497(1)(h.08) of the Act.

Charge no. 2

Margot Doey-Vick, on or about November 29, 2016, at or near the City of Ottawa, or elsewhere in the Province of Ontario, being the Financial Agent of the Scarborough-Agincourt Federal Liberal Association, a deregistered electoral district association, contravened paragraph 403.38(b) of the Canada Elections Act, S. C. 2000, c. 9, by providing the Chief Electoral Officer with a document that does not substantially set out the information required by subsection 403.52(2) of the Act, and did thereby commit an offence contrary to paragraph 497(1)(h.11) of the Act.
