Charge no. 1

On or about October 19, 2015, Mai Huong Le Ngoc, at or near the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia, having already voted in the 42nd federal general election by special ballot, requested a second ballot, contrary to section 7 of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 483(b) of the Canada Elections Act.

Charge no. 2

On or about October 19, 2015, Mai Huong Le Ngoc, at or near the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia, knowingly made a false statement in a declaration signed by her before a deputy returning officer, contrary to paragraph 281(e) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 491(2)(c) of the Canada Elections Act.

Charge no. 3

On or about October 19, 2015, Mai Huong Le Ngoc, at or near the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia, knowing that she had already voted in the 42nd general election, knowingly applied, at the same election, for another ballot to which she was not entitled, contrary to subsection 281(d) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 491(2)(c) of the Canada Elections Act.

Charge no. 4

On or about October 19, 2015, Mai Huong Le Ngoc, at or near the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia, knowing that she was without authority under the Canada Elections Act to do so, had in her possession a ballot, contrary to subsection 167(1)(d) of the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, as amended, thereby committing an offence contrary to paragraph 489(3)(e) of the Canada Elections Act.
