Charge no. 1

Bernard Poulin, between August 1, 2005 and January 20, 2006, in Montreal, in the district of Montreal or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, did knowingly conceal or attempt to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution governed by the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, by soliciting through Guy Charbonneau a monetary political contribution from Claude Lauzon, an employee of Groupe S.M. International Inc., on behalf of a federal political entity, while offering him a reimbursement from Groupe S.M. International Inc., contrary to paragraph 405.2(2)(a), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.15) and punishable by paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.

Charge no. 2

Bernard Poulin, between October 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009, in Montreal, in the district of Montreal or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, did knowingly conceal or attempt to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution governed by the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, by soliciting a monetary political contribution from Jean-Philippe Dubois, an employee of Groupe S.M. International Inc., on behalf of a federal political entity, while offering him a reimbursement from Groupe S.M. International Inc., contrary to paragraph 405.2(2)(a), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.15) and punishable by paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.

Charge no. 3

Bernard Poulin, between January 1, 2004 and March 31, 2009, in Montreal, in the district of Montreal or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, did knowingly conceal or attempt to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution governed by the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, by soliciting through Guy Charbonneau monetary political contributions from Angelo Marini, an employee of Groupe S.M. International Inc., on behalf of federal political entities, while offering him a reimbursement from Groupe S.M. International Inc., contrary to paragraph 405.2(2)(a), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.15) and punishable by paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.

Charge no. 4

Bernard Poulin, between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2008, in Montreal, in the district of Montreal or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, did knowingly conceal or attempt to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution governed by the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, by soliciting through Guy Charbonneau and Angelo Marini monetary political contributions from Irène Filosi, spouse of Angelo Marini, an employee of Groupe S.M. International Inc., on behalf of federal political entities, while offering her a reimbursement from Groupe S.M. International Inc., contrary to paragraph 405.2(2)(a), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.15) and punishable by paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.

Charge no. 5

Bernard Poulin, between January 1, 2004 and June 11, 2009, in Montreal, in the district of Montreal or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, did knowingly conceal or attempt to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution governed by the Canada Elections Act, S.C. 2000, c. 9, by soliciting monetary political contributions from Guy Charbonneau, an employee of Groupe S.M. International Inc., on behalf of federal political entities, while offering him a reimbursement from Groupe S.M. International Inc., contrary to paragraph 405.2(2)(a), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction contrary to paragraph 497(3)(f.15) and punishable by paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.
