Charge no. 1

Louis Clément Sénat, between April 17, 2018 and August 9, 2018 in Terrebonne, in the judicial district of Terrebonne or elsewhere in the province of Quebec, obstructed the work of the Commissioner of Canada Elections or persons acting under his direction by transmitting false or misleading statements to investigator Michel Saumier while presenting himself as if he was Jean-Marius Fontus in emails, contrary to section 482.1 of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000, c. 9), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction under paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.

Charge no. 2

Louis Clément Sénat, between April 17, 2018 and August 9, 2018 in Terrebonne, in the judicial district of Terrebonne, and in Gatineau, in the judicial district of the Outaouais, obstructed the Commissioner of Canada Elections or persons acting under his direction by knowingly producing documents, namely a bank account closing statement, bank statements and a note to investigator Michel Saumier, that contained false or misleading information, contrary to section 482.1 of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000, c. 9), thereby committing an offence punishable by way of summary conviction under paragraph 500(5)(a) of the Act.
