Accused: Tori-Lynn Manchulenko of Mississauga, Ontario
Facts: On October 2, 2014, two Canada Elections Act charges were sworn in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The charges were related to an investigation into events that took place during the 40th general election in 2008.
Charges: Tori-Lynn Manchulenko was charged with:
  • knowingly concealing or attempting to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution; and
  • knowingly circumventing the campaign contribution limit for an individual donor.
Plea: On January 29, 2016, Tori-Lynn Manchulenko pled guilty to having concealed or attempted to conceal the identity of the source of a contribution.
Sentence: Absolute discharge
