Online complaint form
Commissioner of Canada Elections (CCE) employees are working from home until further notice. Despite this alternative work situation, your complaints and concerns remain a priority for us and CCE personnel continue to work to ensure compliance with, and enforcement of, the Canada Elections Act. If you would like to submit a complaint related to a federal electoral event, you are encouraged to complete our online complaint form.
The information provided in this form is collected to investigate potential violations of the Canada Elections Act, the Referendum Act and other related laws. It is compiled for investigations, compliance agreements, caution letters and recommendations for prosecution. This information is used for investigative purposes by the Commissioner of Canada Elections, by law enforcement agencies when requested by the Commissioner, and by the courts in enforcement proceedings. Some of this information may be shared with the RCMP for criminal investigations related to electoral matters or for the RCMP to assist the Commissioner’s Office investigators. In addition, some personal information may be shared with the Chief Electoral Officer to further an investigation or enquiry. Please see our document entitled Important notices.
